David Laurel Cook, age 59, passed away November 29, 1991 in Salt Lake City of a cerebral hemorrhage.
He was born July 10, 1932 in Salt Lake City, Utah, son of Laurel Chauncey Cook and Dorthea Hermansen. Raised by second mother, Doratha Beardall. Married Maureen Howard, February 11, 1961. Sealed in the Salt Lake Temple, June 24, 1970. Loving, caring and faithful husband, father and grandfather. A High Priest in the Sandy, Utah Midvalley 8th Ward. Mechanic for Delta Airlines. Enjoyed family, boating and various hobbies.He is survived by wife, son, David Anderson, daughters, Vaughn Smith (Robynn), Bryan Borders (Kimberlee), Ike Hardy (Michelle), Camille Cook, 11 grandchildren, sisters, LaVon Brusnahan, Valerie Oviatt, half sisters, Marilyn Morris, Beverly Bloodworth, and Susan Eaton, half brother, A. Curtis Cook.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 3, 1991, 12 noon at the Midvalley 8th Ward, 8060 So. 615 East. Viewing will be Monday from 6-8 p.m. at Memorial Estates Mortuary, 5850 So. 900 East, and one hour prior to services. Interment, Mt. View Memorial Estates Cemetery, 3115 East 7800 So.
